A MAN has been charged in connection with a series of indecent exposures against girls and young women in Coventry.

Anthony Wilks was arrested in July last year following a spate of incidents, mainly in the Wyken area, in which a motorbike rider stopped to expose himself to victims in the street.

The oldest alleged victim was aged 22 while the youngest was 12 years old.

Wilks, from Coventry, answered bail on Saturday (February 2) and was charged with a total of 10 counts of indecent exposure during spring and summer last year, plus one count of sexual activity in the presence of a child on April 15 last year in Alliance Way, Stoke.

He was granted bail and is due to appear at Coventry Magistrates Court on March 7 when the charges will formally be put to him.
