Major car park investment completed to improve safety at Lower Precinct

A MAJOR car park investment renovation has taken place at Lower Precinct.

A six week project has seen a brand new Triflex system installed to waterproof the entire rooftop while relining existing pathways to increase visibility and safety.

The level five renovation has contributed to the centre winning The Park Mark Safer Parking Award for the second year running.

The award is given to parking facilities that have achieved the requirements of a risk assessment conducted by the Police and the British Parking Association.

Centre Manager Nicola Cormell said: “It is important to us to maintain our reputation as a safe parking area in the city.

“The installation of the Triflex system has enabled us to give level 5 of the car-park a well-earned revamp while continuing to allow us to provide secure parking for our customers.”
