Longford residents bag a grand in regular Postcode Lottery draw

TWO lucky Longford reisdents each scooped a £1,000 cash prize after playing the People’s Postcode Lottery.

Fortune was on the side of residents living in Whitehorse Close following the weekly draw which selects winners from across the UK.

While some taking part receiving cash prizes, all who contribute to the People’s Postcode Lottery live knowing at least 30 per cent of the money they put in goes directly to charities.

Since starting, the lottery has raised more than £175 million for good causes across the UK and internationally.




Locally, the Boxing Clevel Academy was awarded £1,450 to purchase new equipment for the club.

People’s Postcode Lottery Ambassador, Danyl Johnston, said: “One thousand pounds is a great prize for our players in Longford.
