Live music, hot food, competitions and more at Fridays Coventry's Youth Night

Coventry Editorial 22nd Oct, 2021   0

FOOD and fun will be on the menu for Coventry’s 12 to 18-year-olds at a special Youth Night coming to Canley Community Centre from 5pm to 8pm next Friday, October 29.

The event has been organised by Tyler Campbell and the Fridays team, including Michael Mihoc and Eddie Rugg who are leading the evening and Unique James who is supporting it.

As well as hot food, including burgers, pizza and chips – supplied by Morrisons – young people will also be able to learn new skills, such as how to present on the radio, acting and how to become a young entrepreneur.

There will also be live performances by local musicians and prizes for the winners of sports challenges, including finding the ‘best keepy upper’ and basketball hoop shooter.

Tyler thanked Morrisons for its support and told the Observer: “It’s going to be a lot of fun but educational too – teaching the young people what they can do to have a better future.”
