TRIBUTES have been paid to the two people who were found dead at a property in Coventry.

Sewa Singh Badial and Sukhjit Kaur Badial, who were discovered at a house in Kenilworth Road, leave behind four children and seven grandchildren.

The Badial family have requested privacy while they grieve and come to terms with the passing of their beloved father and mother.

But in a statement they said: “Mr Sewa Singh Badial and Mrs Sukhjit Kaur Badial were keen supporters of good causes and committed members of the local Midlands community.

“They also founded several schools and colleges for underprivileged girls, and rural hospitals, in India.”

The family added they would like to thank people for the many messages of support they have received, adding they had been overwhelmed by messages of love and affection for their parents.

At some point soon they will hold a service so that family and friends can come together to celebrate their lives.

The family also thanked West Midlands Police for their ongoing enquiries.
