A MURAL created from artwork designed by children living in Hillfields has been officially unveiled.
The piece, which has brightened up Hillfields Village Square, incorporates the winning entries of a drawing competition.
The artwork mural was completed by the talented Melissa Smith and follows on from the painted games on the floor of the square, including hop scotch, mazes, snakes and ladders, and a bike and scooter track.
The latest transformation of the square has been made possible via funding from the Police and Crime Commissioners Safer Streets budget.
PCSO Lauren Galloway said: “It has been amazing to help to transform an area and bring Hillfields Village Square back to life – it is now an area that the families of the local area can enjoy spending their time in a fun family oriented environment.”
