THE tiresome six-year dispute still rumbles on between the Ricoh Arena, its Wasps owners, it former council owners, and Coventry City’s owners Sisu.
Our historic football club’s future is uncertain after this season, when its latest tenancy agreement expires at the stadium built for it.
Ex-London rugby club Wasps, in Coventry for four years on an unfair council stadium sale which greatly financially disadvantages Coventry City, is refusing to negotiate ANY deal to keep the Sky Blues in Coventry, let alone a fair deal.
They blame Sisu, who fans know won’t go away without an elusive big money takeover, for pursuing yet another court appeal over the stadium’s sale.
We’ll say it yet again. ALL sides should talk to end the dispute and find a fairer deal for the Sky Blues.
