A CYCLIST is in a serious condition in hospital after a crash in Coventry yesterday afternoon.
The collision involved a car and a bike at the junction of Foleshill Road and Arbury Avenue at 12.25pm.
An ambulance, paramedic officer and the Warwickshire and Northamptonshire Air Ambulance Critical Care car attended with the first crew on the scene within four minutes of the emergency call.
Paramedics quickly administered treatment at the scene and the cyclist’s condition showed signs of improvement.
He was then taken on blue lights to University Hospital Coventry and Warwickshire for further treatment, with the critical care paramedic and doctor on board.
