A CREATIVE schoolboy has built himself a successful project which landed him a worldwide award.
Krish Mattu, from King Henry VIII in Coventry, entered the Classics Competition and produced a winning Lego animation of the Greek myth Pandora’s Box.
The 11-year-old took the Key Stage 2 title in the contest run by The Primary Latin Project which promotes ancient languages in primary schools.
Students are challenged to come up with short dramas, written or animation pieces and using music, speech and graphics.
This year’s entries came from afar afield as Australia but judges were most impressed with Krish’s creation, using CapCut and Stop Motion software, which won him a £30 book token.
Krish said: “I really enjoyed creating the animation and learning about Pandora’s Box.
“It took a long time to create and I am really happy to win first prize.”
