THE SPORTS day at War Memorial Park in Coventry returned after three years of being cancelled due to Covid, writes Aimee Lempriere.
The event featured teams playing football, rounders, tug of war, volleyball and even children and adults participating in different track events.
As well as the sports, there were also many stalls and free food provided by Sikh gurdwaras (temples) in the city.
Bali Panseaser, of the Sikh Union, said he thanked everyone who came down to the community event.
A total of £1,202 was collected in donations which the organisers were grateful for as it helped to cover part of the costs incurred to put the event on.
