COVENTRY’S Langar Aid team are on their way to Bewdley in Worcestershire to provide hot food for residents affected by flooding and snow.
Hot food and refreshments are also being provided to the emergency services.
The town’s flood defences on the River Severn were breached by the heavy rain from Storm Christoph earlier in the week and then the snow has exacerbated the issues over the weekend.
Teams from Khalsa Aid, Langar Aid’s mother organisation, have also joined the Coventry members, travelling up from Slough in Berkshire over the past few days to provide help and support.
