KASBAH nightclub is hosting its biggest ever Boxing Day line-up this evening with headliner DJ, Danny Howard.

Clubbers at Hillfields hotspot, the Kasbah, will be treated to performances from some of top DJs on the dance scene including Amine Edge & Dance, Low Steppa, Kideko and Camelphat joining Danny Howard for what is billed to be one of the biggest nights of the whole festive period.

Tonight will be Howard’s third Boxing Day performance at the venue and the sixth time he has entertained the Kasbah crowd.

Howard burst onto the UK dance scene five years ago, after winning BBC Radio 1 Superstar DJ in 2011.

Over 1.8 million people now tune into his Dance Anthems show on BBC Radio 1 every weekend and he has even secured a weekly residence at the world-renowned Pacha nightclub in Ibiza.

Speaking ahead of this evening’s show, Danny Howard said: “Kasbah Coventry is one of the first clubs on my list to play every year, as its one of the UK’s handful of clubs not in a big city that consistently delivers great line ups and huge nights.

“This time I had the pleasure of curating what I think is a great line up of house music talent.”

Chief support will come from Amine Edge & DANCE (AED), famed for their ground-breaking sound and high-energy live performances.

Bringing their own genre-blend of tech and house, the French duo frequent clubs and festivals all over the world.

Thanos Staikos, of the Kasbah, added: “It has been great to work with Danny Howard to put together our biggest ever Boxing Day line-up and we hope it will be one of the highlights of everyone’s Christmas period.

“Danny loves playing here at the Kasbah, he knows the crowd will always deliver an electric atmosphere and we will secure a cracking line-up to appear alongside him.

“This will be a great opportunity to extend that Christmas buzz and make it a festive period to remember – in the past the Boxing Day night has been one of our best received nights of the year and we’re sure this year’s will be even better than ever before.”

Advance tickets for the event cost £15 and £20 on the door – doors open from 10pm.
