COVENTRY’S Job Shop closed its doors yesterday (Wednesday March 25) and switches to a temporary digital service for customers and businesses.

Due to the coronavirus crisis and latest government advice a date for re-opening has not yet been set, but all service users will be kept up-to-date.

A statement reads: “We encourage everyone to follow our social media pages for the most up-to-date information.

“If you are a customer looking for assistance we are offering support online and over the phone.

“General employment support enquiries can be emailed to [email protected] and a job coach will get back within one working day.

“If you wish to apply for a Job or help with your CV email: [email protected]. You can also call the Job Shop on 024 7678 5740 or 024 7678 5751.”

The Employer Hub is offering support to businesses looking for assistance on all recruitment matters as well as ways to navigate the current COVID-19 issues.

It says: “Please don’t hesitate to contact us: [email protected] – this is for business employment support. You can also call 024 7697 8062 or 024 7697 8061.

“These are unprecedented times for us all, however we are committed to continue to provide the best support we can to our job seekers and businesses.”
