COVENTRY Stampede wheelchair rugby team will be holding new free taster sessions every Thursday at the Sports Connexion.
The hour-long sessions will start at 7pm and are for people with disabilities aged 12 and over, although those under 18 will need a parent or guardian to fill out an activity consent form.
All equipment will be provided for the session including the sports wheelchair.
The sessions aim to keep people with disabilities fit while allowing them to learn new skills and socialise.
The sessions will be run by the Stampede’s head coach and development officer, Mandip Sehmi, who is a level two qualified trainer and has represented Great Britain in Wheelchair Rugby three times at the Paralympics.
