AN incident which left a teenager with serious injuries in now being treated as a suspected hit-and-run.
It took place in Bushberry Avenue, Tile Hill, Coventry, shortly before 1pm yesterday (May 8).
A West Midlands Police spokesperson said: “A 15-year-old boy was struck by a Vauxhall Astra before it fled the scene.
“The boy has been taken to hospital to be treated for injuries which are not believed to be serious.
“The car was later found burnt out and has been recovered.
