A TEENAGER from Coventry is being questioned today (May 23) by police on suspicion of Syria-related terrorism offences.
The 19-year-old was arrested in the city last night (Sunday) and detectives have an initial 48 hours to question him.
He was arrested amongst two others, a 21-year-old from an address in Sheffield and a 26-year-old man who was taken by police in Kent.
All three men continue to be questioned in the West Midlands.
The arrests were pre-planned and intelligence-led – there was no immediate threat to public safety.
