Coventry students heading for Hydrogen conference after impressing Bosch directors

COVENTRY’S WMG Academy students have been invited to the Hydrogen For Life Conference as VIP guest speakers after impressing Bosch directors.

The students impressed bosses with their research into the future of electric versus hydrogen for privately owned cars and local distribution vehicles.

Bosch partnered with the academy and has been running project workshops with the students on hydrogen vehicles and sustainable energy.

This led up to the Year 10 Electronics students presenting their findings to Bosch UK directors Arun Srinivasan and Bharath Jayakumar and WMG’s executive chair Margot James.

Many of the students have been invited to attend the conference at London’s Science Museum on June 30.

WMG’s lead for engineering and design Andrew Kyprianou said: “Bosch has enriched the students’ understanding of the development of hydrogen and electric powered vehicle technology.

“Our business partners supporting the academy provide our students the experience and knowledge of working with world-class companies that prepare them for their early careers.”
