THE CHECKATRADE Trophy was sent to Coventry today – and schoolchildren got a chance to see the silverware which Sky Blues players hope to get their hands on at Wembley on Sunday.
Young players Jordan Turnbull and George Thomas were among those who met pupils at St Osburgs School in Upper Hill St, Coventry.
The pupilsĀ also had the chance to ask questions of their Coventry City heroes.
The event was part of the Sky Blues in the Community Scheme run by Coventry City legend Dave Busst.
Pupils greeted the players through a line of giant Sky Blues flags.
Other players attending the event were academy graduate and defender Dion Kelly Evans, midfielder Kyel Reid and goalkeeper Reice Charles Cook.
