Coventry Police warning after officers seize more e-scooters being used illegally in city centre

Coventry Editorial 8th May, 2022

POLICE have reiterated warnings about e-scooters after seizing a number of them being used illegally in Coventry City Centre.

Officers want to remind people that – unless they are the regulated ones being used as part of the official designated rental trials – they are not permitted to be used in public spaces.

The St Michael’s Neighbourhood Team has confiscated a number of the vehicles in the past few weeks.
