COVENTRY Police officers have delivered hand-written cards to care homes across the city.
Each of the cards, designed to spread some festive cheer, was personalised with a bespoke message written by members of Neighbourhood Police Teams.
Around 50 cards have been delivered so far with more to follow during the rest of the week.
All of the cards were written while officers were wearing gloves and face masks and were left for 72 hours before delivery to reduce any risk of spreading Coronavirus.
