Coventry man and woman bailed for Syria-related terrorism offences

A MAN has been bailed after being arrested in Coventry on suspicion of Syria-related terrorism offences

The 29-year-old man was detained at an address in the city by officers from the force’s counter terrorism unit yesterday afternoon (Wednesday, January 20) and has since been bailed with strict conditions.

A woman, aged 28, who was also arrested in Coventry yesterday on suspicion of Syria-related terrorism offences has also been bailed with strict conditions while the investigation continues.

The searches are being made under terrorism legislation.
