Coventry home care company to create 30 new jobs to keep up with demand

A HOME CARE provider has announced it will be creating 30 new care assistant jobs in the city in the next three months.

Bluebird Care Coventry already employs staff who provide care and support to the elderly and people with physical disabilities across the area and now that number will increase.

Director Carolyn Dailey said: “Employing committed and passionate care assistants has been a huge part of our success over the last decade.

“We will only ever be as good as the staff we employ, and our staff are excellent. They are always professional and have real empathy for the people they look after.”

The demand for convenient and reliable home care has increased due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Carolyn added: “The elderly and vulnerable members of our community are going to need more support than ever before to get through the winter.

“The pandemic has seen not only a decrease in physical health but also mental health too.

“As a care provider, it is often our care assistants who offer companionship and a friendly face for our customers who otherwise would spend a lot of time on their own.”

The company is looking for people who want to give something back to their community and support those in need. Visit bluebirdcare.co.uk/coventry for more on the roles.
