PEOPLE who want to participate in Coventry’s cultural life can apply for the latest art project grants.
This fund has a total value of £75,000, with anticipated awards of between £5,000 and £12,000 on offer as part of this latest UK City of Culture tranche.
Applicants must be from black, Asian or minority ethnic backgrounds, have a disability or live in one of ten wards identified in the Coventry Cultural Profiler as having the lowest level of participation in cultural activities.
Those wards are Binley and Willenhall, Cheylesmore, Earlsdon, Foleshill, Holbrooks, Longford, Radford, Upper Stoke, Wainbody and Westwood
Projects, being offered by Coventry City Council, can include visual and performing arts, local heritage engagement, online and digital activity.
An Expression of Interest Form must be submitted no later than midday on July 12 with the deadline for full applications at 5pm on August 20.
