A TRANSPORT company which has its head office in Coventry has raised £10,582 for the Children’s Air Ambulance as part of its 20th anniversary celebrations.
Retail Transport Services Ltd, which also has an office in Manchester, has stretched some of its challenges over the past couple of years because of Covid so is actually due to turn 23 soon.
Fund-raising events included marathons, pub quizzes and a boxing match which became part of a mental health documentary on the BBC called We Are England.
Toys and gifts were also given to the charity to auction off at events.
The final total was doubled by directors of the company – Dave Hughes and Dave Lewis – making up the final sum which will go a long way to help the charity save lives.
