COVENTRY City is one of 65 EFL Clubs to achieve Family Excellence status for the 2021-22 season.
The award recognises clubs which show continued improvement and best practice in their engagement with families across the leagues as well as supporting clubs as they try to attract a new generation of younger fans.
All EFL clubs received visits from two ‘mystery families’ this season which gave feedback to determine who would receive the award.
The report praised the club for the information it provided to fans online and the matchday experience they delivered to families.
Coventry City chief executive Dave Boddy said the club was delighted to retain its Family Excellence status.
“I would like to thank everyone involved in us being awarded Family Excellence Status, especially the Family Zone volunteers who do such a wonderful job in providing activities and a warm welcome to our young supporters and their families.”
