ONE of Coventry City’s FA Cup-winning heroes from 1987 Dave Bennett will be meeting and greeting fans when he brings a replica FA Cup to Gala Bingo in Radford Road this Friday.
Bennett scored City’s first goal in a famous 3-2 victory over Tottenham Hotspur as the Sky Blues lifted the FA Cup for the first and only time in their history.
The former attacking midfielder will be there between 6-8.30pm to celebrate the 30th anniversary of City’s famous FA Cup win and he will also be wishing the current squad luck as they return to Wembley in the Checkatrade Trophy final this Sunday.
Players who take part in bingo on the evening will enter a free draw and could be in with a chance of winning a pair of tickets to one of Coventry’s final home fixtures of the season.
Bennett’s visit coincides with a Wembley party night on Friday where Gala Bingo will be putting on a host of offers for players.
If any player calls the number ’87’ they could be in with a chance of winning £100 in shopping vouchers, plus there will be four chances to win £500 and fans can take photos with Sky Blues legend Bennett throughout the evening.
