City man dies after altercation at his home

POLICE are appealing for information after a man died in hospital following an ‘altercation’ with a group of people at his home in Foleshill.

The man, believed to be in his 40s, was admitted to hospital at 4am on Thursday (March 5) and died just before midday.

A West Midlands Police spokesman said: “Police in Coventry are currently investigating the death of a man, who died in hospital at around 11.25am on Thursday.

“The man was admitted at around 4am following an altercation with a group at his home address in Foleshill Road, Foleshill, the previous day.




“Officers are currently working to establish the circumstances behind the man’s death and inquiries are at a very early stage.”
