Children in Keresley get creative with Taylor Wimpey

PUPILS from Keresley Grange Primary Academy recently took part in a creative competition with Taylor Wimpey Midlands to design a poster based on the theme “What I Love About Keresley”.

Children from the school entered the competition by drawing their designs, which were shared with Appledown Gate team.

The overall winners were Dara, age eleven, Rebecca, age ten, and, Jiya, aged ten, who have had their designs framed and put up on the wall of the sales office.

The company also donated £250 which went towards outdoor building equipment for the early years children.




John Astley, Deputy Headteacher said: “We would like to thank Taylor Wimpey Midlands for inviting our children to take part in the creative competition and the donation to our school.

“The children thoroughly enjoyed the competition and our winners were thrilled to see their designs framed on the wall.”


Ben Walker, Sales and Marketing Director for Taylor Wimpey Midlands, said: “It’s very important to us that we connect with the communities in which we build and by doing this competition with the school we’ve learned just how special the area is to some of its youngest residents.”
