Candlelit vigil to be held for the people of Ukraine at Coventry Cathedral

A CANDLELIT vigil for Ukraine will be held at Coventry Cathedral on Ash Wednesday tomorrow.

Everyone is welcome at the New Cathedral for a time of silent prayer and reflection which follows the 7.30pm Eucharist for Ash Wednesday.

There will be music from the Lay Clerks of the Cathedral choir and an opportunity to light a candle as Coventry – City of Peace and Reconciliation – expresses its solidarity with all those whose lives have been turned upside down by the conflict.

There will also be prayers for peace.
