MORE than 40 jobs will be created when The London Burger Kitchen (LBK) opens a new restaurant in Coventry.

LBK – billed as the ‘home of the banging burger’ will launch in the autumn in the ground floor of the West Orchards shopping centre.

The company prides itself on handmade fresh burgers using only local produce.

LBK offers an exciting and extensive menu of burgers and hot dogs, including the epic STACK IT UP, London Tower burger, which consists of four burgers, two bacon slices, melted mozzarella, maple syrup, plus sides.

It is part of an expansion by LBK which has plans to grow its number of outlets across all major cities in the UK.

The new one will give it two outlets now in Coventry – West Orchards and Broad Street RFC – along with a restaurant in Warwick and one in London.

Senior asset manager Andy Talbot said: “We are thrilled to welcome the LBK team to Coventry City Centre.

“We cannot wait until the autumn to experience their new concept store.”

Joe Taylor of London Burger Kitchen said “This will be our fourth LBK restaurant, with many more planned soon.

“We offer a great quality burger in a sports bar environment, that is suitable for the whole family. We look forward to welcoming everyone to our brand new outlet very soon.”

This is first of many new stores set to open at the West Orchards shopping centre, following the takeover by VITRAG LLP in February.

The shopping centre is aiming to bring an accessible and varied retail experience to the people of Coventry, whilst also attracting visitors from elsewhere.
