£20k reward for information on missing student Ozi

A £20,000 REWARD has been offered for information about missing Coventry University student, Ozi.

The reward, which has been put forward by an anonymous donor, is for key new information given to the police which leads directly to locating the 24-year-old student.

Ozeivo Andrew Akerele – known to his friends as Ozi – has been missing since Saturday, January 31 this year after going missing after a night out with friends.

Originally from Nigeria, Ozi was last was last seen at the Iglu Club on Spon Street at around 3.30am wearing jeans, blue and white converse trainers and a grey/black zip-up jacket.




He is described as black, 6’ 2″ tall and of a slim build.

Meanwhile, Inspector Alastair Orencas, from Coventry Police, said the force are continuing in their efforts to locate the student – having carried out another search of the city’s canal network today (June 17).


The reward also applies only to information which is not already in the possession of the police as of May 8, 2015 and shall remain in force until December 31, 2015.
