£2,000 fund to help Coventrians with disabilities lead fuller lives

Coventry Editorial 8th Apr, 2023   0

A NEW fund of up to £2,000 is now available to help Coventrians living with physical and learning disabilities to lead full and active lives.

The Torrington Fund aims to support charities as well as voluntary and community groups whose work centres on helping those with disabilities.

Those applying must prove their work will help people with disabilities learn skills to enable them to live more independent lives.

The cash can also be spent on activities encouraging disabled people to become more sociable or stay active.

The grants must be spent within a year.

The Torrington Fund is managed by the Heart of England Community Foundation.
