A MULTI award-winning actor is treading the boards in the Midlands premiere of ‘Twelve Angry Men’ at the Belgrade next week.

Olivier Award Winner, Tony Award Winner, Variety Award Winner, and Academy Award and Golden Globe nominee Tom Conti will reprise his role as Juror Number 8 in the hit West End show as the tour stops at Coventry’s Belgrade Theatre.

Tom Conti rose to fame in Merry Christmas Mr Lawrence and Shirley Valentine, but will be more recently recognised for his performances in The Dark Knight Rises and Street Dance.

‘Twelve Angry Men’, based on the 1957 Oscar-nominated film of the same name, follows twelve jurors who have murder on their minds and a life in their hands as they decide the fate of a young delinquent accused of killing his father.

The acclaimed production plays the Belgrade Main Stage from Monday, February 9 until Saturday, February 13, with tickets available via the Box Office on 024 7655 3055 or online at www.belgrade.co.uk
