A GRAMMY and Brit Award nominated musician will be bringing his talents to Coventry later this month.

Jax Jones will take to the Kasbah stage on Saturday, February 25, to perform a selection of his tracks which have shot the 29-year-old to fame.

The London-based songwriter and producer will performing tunes including ‘You Don’t Know Me’ – which is currently number three in the UK singles chart and has become a regular on nightclub and radio playlists.

Having spent the past three weeks at number three in the charts, the track sits behind two songs released by world-star Ed Sheeran.

Jones featured on Duke Dumont’s number one hit ‘I Got U’ in 2014, for which the duo were nominated for a Grammy and Brit Award.

The talented musician can play guitar, bass, keys and drums – and turned down an interview to attend Oxford University in favour of his musical career.

His talents have caught the attention of some of the biggest names in music, confirmed by Jones’ announcement he is working on a collaboration with American superstar Selena Gomez.

The show at the Kasbah is one of only two English tour dates currently scheduled for Jones, before heading off for a string of performances in the United States.

Ama Kullar, of the Kasbah, said: “Jax Jones is right at the forefront of popular music in the UK at the moment, and we are sure he will create a special atmosphere.

“We are confident Jax Jones’ performance will be one of the highlights of 2017 so far.”

Admission to the 18+ event costs £6 with doors open from 10pm.
