DRUM ‘n’ bass stars Chase & Status have warned fans to be on time as they plan to ‘start big and finish big’ at their upcoming Coventry show.

The chart-topping UK electronic music production due will headline at The Kasbah this Sunday (April 30) as Coventry partygoers celebrate the Bank Holiday weekend in style.

Chase & Status will be joined by MC Rage, Rude Kid, Darkzy and FINEART in a bumper May Bank Holiday Special line-up at the Hillfields hotspot.

Best known for their chart hits End Credits, featuring Plan B and 2013s Count on Me featuring Moko, the duo say they have great memories of playing in Coventry over the years – including at MTV Crashes in May last year.

Saul Milton, better known as Chase, said: “The Kasbah is a great venue. We’ve played there a few times before and you know you can rely on getting a good crowd through the door on the night.

“These sort of shows are great for us because it gives us a chance to play our new music to our fans and see up close their reactions to a song they haven’t heard before.

“Everyone at the venue can expect a typical Chase & Status energy packed set. We’ll be playing many of our old classics, mixed in with some of the new tunes that we are really feeling right now.

“We plan to start big and finish big too, so don’t be late.”

The duo previously sold out the main in 2012 – the same year they were nominated for Best British Group at the BRIT Awards.

Amarjit Kullar, of the Kasbah, said: “We’re really looking forward to this Bank Holiday special, it is gearing up to be one of those iconic special nights at the Kasbah.

“Chase & Status give it their all in every performance, they’ll deliver a high energy performance and I know our Kasbah crowd will respond with the same intensity.

“This is a night not to be missed and I encourage everyone to grab their tickets and make this year’s May Bank Holiday one to remember.”
