Belgrade artistic director Simon Usher brings touring show home

FORMER artistic director of The Belgrade Theatre Simon Usher brings his touring show to the venue next week.

Chorale – A Sam Shepard Roadshow features two shows which will run on the B2 Stage from May 10 to 17.

Sam Shepard is America’s most adventurous and poetic living playwright and Chorale is a rare opportunity to experience his work through theatre, film, music and workshops.

The double bill show includes his early play The Holy Ghostly, poetic monologue The War In Heaven, the rarely seen film version of Savage/Love and the UK premiere of The Animal (You).

There are evening shows ay 8pm on May 10, 14 and 15 and 2.45pm matinees on May 13 and 17. Tickets are priced from £8.25.
