A RECORD number of listeners now tune in to BBC Coventry & Warwickshire, figures released this week revealed.
Figures released by Radio Joint Audience Research (RAJAR) revealed 99,000 listeners tune into the station every week - 15,000 more than RAJAR's figure for the last quarter and the highest number since the station relaunched in 2005.
On average, listeners tune in for nine-and-a-half hours a week.
David Clargo, managing editor of the station, said: "This really is fantastic news.
"Our success is testament to the hard work of all the staff here who have worked incredibly hard since the launch of the station to make this radio station accessible and entertaining for the community which it serves.”
BBC Coventry & Warwickshire broadcasts on 94.8, 104 or 103.7 FM.
