FOOTBALL was on the agenda during half-term as the council encouraged people to tell them how sport can be improved in the city.
Hundreds of children met Sky Blues Sam and took part in the football extravaganza in Broadgate on Tuesday where a huge inflatable football pitch and mini games were put on for the public.
The day was part of efforts to raise the profile of the city's Passport to Leisure Learning Scheme, which give low income families discounts on leisure activities across the city.
We reported last month how it was being reviewed because not enough people who were eligible for the cut price entry to attractions such as leisure centres, the Lunt Fort and The Belgrade were registered as cardholders.
Tickets to see the Sky Blues in action were available for the winners of speed shot events and for a prize draw for people who complete the review survey.
The survey can still be completed online by visiting coventry.gov.uk/ptllsurvey2013 or a printed survey can be filled in at sports centres, libraries and adult education venues.
