Enviage chief executive Chris Lee and Lord Green (s)
BINLEY firm Envisage Group is helping to transform the engineering industry, according to a senior Government minister.
Lord Green, minister of state for trade and investment, was among a top business delegation to visit the highly-regarded company which is currently increasing its overseas presence.
It already has clients in India, China, Malaysia and the EU in automotive engineering, automotive concept design, automotive modelling, electric vehicles, engineering and concept work for rail and aerospace as well as training and software services.
And we reported in November last year how the firm announced it would be creating 20 new jobs after higher than expected demand for its supercar Lyonheart K, which is based on the Jaguar E-Type.
Lord Green said: "The UK engineering sector is a national success story and vital element to the Government's plan for sustainable economic growth.
"Here in the West Midlands, Envisage is a classic example of how innovation is transforming Britain's engineering sector.
"It is exactly the type of company that will play a vital role in rebalancing our economy towards high-end, value-added design and engineering products that will help drive regional growth through exports."
Lord Green visited with representatives from UKTI (UK Trade and Investment) and the Coventry and Warwickshire Chamber of Commerce.
