AUTHOR Andy Briggs came swinging into town this week to give a free interactive quiz and presentation about his new book Tarzan: The Savage Lands and Screenwriter.
Briggs met with children during half term at the city's central Library on Wednesday to speak about his recent adventure in the jungle.
As well as signing copies of his new book, Briggs also announced the winners of the Coventry Inspiration Book Awards, as voted for by the people of Coventry.
Briggs began his career as a writer back in the early 1990's and since then he has gone on to work on a number of exciting projects.
His more recent work has included producing story ideas for the Sci-Fi Channel and Disney.
He developed a series of young adult novels (hero.con/villian.net) which has led to the creation of the Tarzan novels.
