Meet the Beatles are at the Criterion Theatre on Sunday (s)

TRIBUTE band Meet the Beatles will tell the story of the Fab Four at the Criterion Theatre on Sunday.

They will take fans back to the 60s and the early days of the Cavern Club, through the hazy daze of Sergeant Pepper and their last ever performance on the roof of the Apple Corps building in January 1969.

Despite the four band members only being in their 20s, they have earned international acclaim, playing 600 shows over the past six years all over the UK, Europe and USA.

All their instruments and costumes are exact replicas used and worn by the Beatles themselves, and have been meticulously sourced out from around the world.

The theatre in Earlsdon also stages its latest in-house production this weekend.

Award-winning comedy All in the Timing by David Ives is a series of thematically interlinked sketches about beginnings and endings, featuring chimp-literati, Polish funeral maids, Lindbergh’s baby and even Leon Trotskyis.

Previous productions have been described by critics as 'enchanting, perplexing and very, very funny'.

It opens tonight (Thursday) for a three night run with performances at 7.30pm.

Tickets for both of these shows are priced from £5 to £9.50 and are on sale from the box office on 024 7667 5175
