PICTURE BY DAN JAMES / CATERS NEWS - Traffic chaos hit Allesley Park, Coventry, last month in heavy snow. Up to 15 vehicles were stuck trying to get up a hill. The situation became so extreme two motorists hit each other in front of a police officer at the scene directing motorists.
SNOW could hit the region on Sunday, the Met Office has warned.
They issued a yellow warning in the West Midlands and around the country earlier today.
Forecasters claimed early rainfall on Sunday could turn to snow and issued the warning for all of Sunday into Monday.
However, local predictions have refused to rule out rain, sleet or snow for the weekend.
Bablake Weather Station said on its website - www.bablakeweather.co.uk - the heavy snow warnings were still up for debate.
"If it comes off, it may well be heavy wet snow that could cause some disruption early next week, with the potential weight of the snow a real threat to trees and power lines.
"Having said that, with temperatures right on the interface between rain, sleet and snow, it may just be rather wet."
