DRUGS with a street value of over £150,000 were discovered in a house in Walsgrave.

Police raided the house in Mansfield Avenue after a request from West Mercia Police who wanted to speak to someone who lived there in connection with a burglary.

A search of the property following the 7am raid on Thursday unearthed 80 cannabis plants. What is believed to be cocaine, ecstasy tablets and amphetamines were also discovered.

Four people were arrested at the property.

A 32-year-old man remains in custody while two men, aged 38 and 16, and a 23-year-old woman were released on police bail.

The RSPCA were called following concerns about four dogs at the premises and a welfare notice was handed to the female occupier.
