Hi: 18° Lo:13° 7 day

TOP DJ Pete Tong is among the first acts set to play at a nightclub which opened at the weekend.
Rehab Warehouse, in Bishop Street, got the go ahead to earlier this month despite some objections.
Plans for the former Oxfam site also include creating a new creative hub for artists, dancers and musicians to showcase their talents.
Owners Robert Bowell and John Dawkins have only been handed a short-term lease as the site is already earmarked for the Bishop Gate development, but hope to find a permanent home if the concept proves popular.
Mr Bowell said: "We have been very lucky to work with some of the biggest DJs and acts in the UK and internationally over our careers and will be bringing several of these to the venue over the coming months.
"It’s very exciting for the city. Combine that with the creative hub, which will showcase some of the freshest new talent that we have in Coventry, from dance to music to acting and art, it’s a multipurpose venue that will give back to the city, as well as provide Coventry with a nightlife that has been lacking some time."
A handful of objections were given to the council, including from a nearby resident who claimed they were already being disturbed by a nearby club.
But the licence went ahead with a number of conditions reached with authorities, including one bouncer for every 100 clubbers, a challenge 25 scheme and knife checks in place for revellers.
