A BRIDAL shop in Coventry is up for a top award - but needs the public's help in securing votes.
Bridal Gallery has been nominated by the British Bridal Retailers' Association for a national gong after winning its retailer of the month prize in May last year.
The Cheylesmore business will welcome its 21st birthday next year and founder Sarah Smith is hoping to celebrate in style.
"Winning would obviously give us fabulous publicity but it would also be good for Coventry having a nationally recognised association giving us an award," she said.
"We celebrate 21 years next year and this would be in recognition of staff both past and present."
She added business had made a healthy start to the new year and her diary was filling up.
Eight part-time staff work at the Quinton Road shop, which also caters for other occasions such as proms and communions.
A public vote has been launched online with the business sitting in second place after a strong start. Voting closes at midnight on Friday.
