Coventry Morris Men on city centre dance tour

COVENTRY Morris Men will be dancing in the city centre streets on Saturday.

They will be performing a variety of sword dances from North Yorkshire, the Shetlands as well as dances from Herefordshire, Worcestershire and Shropshire.

Earlsdon-based Border Morris side Elephant up a Pole and clog dancers from Miss Nancy Sylvester's Academy of Clog Dancing will join the dances; the first being at 10.30am in Lidice Place.

They will be at Precinct Crossing by the fountain (11am), Upper Precinct (11.30am), Broadgate (12.30pm), Hertford Street (2.30pm), Shelton Square (3pm) before ending the day back at Precinct Crossing at 3.30pm.
