Clarification
Coventry Diecasting Sarginsons Industries

Tuesday 08 January 2013 Updated: 08/01 14:01

THE Observer has been asked to clarify our story in last week's edition headlined Engineering firm is forced to close and on our website headlined Coventry engineering firm goes bust.

Coventry Diecasting was not a trading company, it was a holding company.

As such there were no jobs lost. The trading company went into liquidation in 2011 and a new company called Sarginsons Industries was formed at that point.

We are happy to set the record straight and apologise for any misunderstanding caused.
