THE Coventry Airport-based Warwickshire & Northamptonshire Air Ambulance (WNAA) has opened its first fund-raising shop in the city.
The store in Daventry Road, Cheylesmore opened for business on Tuesday. It is the charity's ninth shop to open since the first in Rugby back in 2010.
All items sold there will go towards the £5,000 its costs every day to send the helicopter to 999 calls.
Emma Vithlani, director of retail and trading, said: "We’re extremely excited to be opening our first shop in Coventry."
