Girls sought after man racially abused on bus

CCTV images of two teenage girls have been released after a man was racially abused on a city bus.

The 50-year-old was subjected to abuse on the number 13 bus through Jubilee Crescent, Radford, on Thursday, November 1 at around 3.30pm.

The first girl was described as white, 5ft 3ins tall, aged around 16, of slim build and with long blonde hair.

The second girl was white, 5ft 3ins tall, aged around 16, of slim build and had brown hair. She was wearing a black sports jacket with red markings.

PC Chris Milburn, of Coventry police station, said: "This kind of behaviour will not be tolerated and we want anyone who can identify the two girls to come forward and contact us as soon as possible."

Anyone who recognises the girls should call police on 101 or the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
