KINGS of Leon are set for two dates at the LG Arena after two years out of the limelight.

The US rockers will play the Birmingham venue in July next year as part of a long-awaited European Tour.

Tickets go on sale at 10am on Friday, priced from £45.

The quartet are working on their sixth studio album after rocking the Ricoh Arena in May last year with a stunning set.

The band – made up of brothers Caleb, Nathan and Jared Followill and their cousin Matthew Followill – have had a total of nine top 40 singles, including numerous number ones.

Tickets for the gigs, on Tuesday 9 and Wednesday 10 July, can be purchased on www.theticketfactory.com or 0844 338 8000.
